Saturday, July 19, 2008 (West Salem, WI) - Talent shows and cotton candy brought hundreds of people to the La Crosse Fairgrounds all week for the La Crosse Interstate fair. But, on Saturday night it was the thundering race cars and non-stop action of the La Crosse Speedway that urged the masses to come out despite the threat of rain. Early Saturday night radars showed a storm wall headed directly towards West Salem, but when it would hit no one knew. So the drivers drove and the fans cheered as the show went on. The main event of the night being the 50 lap NASCAR Kwik Trip Late Models feature.......More.
