(West Salem, WI) The 2011 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series season at LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway officially concluded Friday night at the 25th annual Champions' Banquet.

A crowd of over 300 guests, including many of the 2011 race teams, sponsors and family members, joined in the festivities. Over 100 awards were handed out at the event, held at Onalaska's Stoney Creek Inn Conference Center on a frigid and snowy January night.

(West Salem, WI) – Officials of LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway today have announced details of the 25th Annual Champions’ Banquet. The banquet will be held on Friday, January 20th, at the Stoney Creek Inn’s Northwoods Conference Center, located in Onalaska, Wi.

“It's always a fun time to see the racers during the off-season, where no one is under the pressure or against the clock to get on the track and get the car working properly" commented Director of Competition Ray Loughan. This will be the seventh straight year of having the event at the popular Conference Center at Stoney Creek Inn.


(Thursday, Oct. 13, 2011) - Join us for the final event at the Speedway this Saturday, October 15th. It is the 300' Bracket Nationals of Street Drags presented by Unique Edge Customizing.

Come out and participate in one of many brackets of competition, including Detroit Iron (Muscle Cars), Tuners, Mustangs, Trucks, 4x4, Motorcycles, plus High Skool, Domestic and More! Plus, a Monster Energy Burnout Contest and the Shine N Show contest will add to the fun you will have this Saturday.


ONALASKA, WI – A fantastic turn out of championship drivers and other celebrities attended the Champions Reunion October 9th, which was held as part of the 42nd Annual Oktoberfest Racing weekend at La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway, West Salem, WI.

(West Salem, WI – October 8, 2011) Speed was on display tonight for the third day of the 42nd Annual Livewire Energy Oktoberfest Race Weekend. Skylar Holzhausen came from the middle of the field to take the Big 8 Series win. Dan Jung showcased his strong car in the OUTLAWZ feature and James Swan capped off his 2011 Mid-American Series season with a win and a championship.

(West Salem, WI – October 7, 2011) Neil Knoblock put his name in the history books as the fifth different winner of the Dick Trickle 99 at the 42nd Annual Livewire Energy Oktoberfest Race Weekend. Knoblock joins Steve Holzhausen (2007), Nathan Haseleu (2008), Chris Weinkauf (2009) and Dan Fredrickson (2010) as winners of this popular event.

The racing gods blessed the La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway Thursday with great weather and exciting racing for the Livewire Energy and CC106.3 night at the races. Three different drivers were able to race their cars to track championships, while others dragged their cars home in pieces.

WEST SALEM, WI (September 23, 2011) – The 42nd Annual Oktoberfest Race Weekend is set to crown a total of eight series or division champions for the 2011 racing season. On Thursday night, October 6th, the LaCrosse Speedway's three weekly divisions will converge one final time for the 2011 championship season.

But before the real destruction got underway, the fans were treated with a special guest appearance by the Clements Racing Sausages who had their own foot race on the front stretch, getting the crowd pumped up for the nights events.
