(West Salem, WI – June 28, 2010) Can anybody beat Steve Carlson? Not on Saturday night.

Carlson won his fourth Kwik Trip NASCAR Late Model feature of the season after taking the lead from Jeff Baker late in the race.


June 19, 2010 - The 4th annual Smash-O-Rama presented by Powerade went off with a bang on Saturday Night at LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway. On hand was a night of family fun while thrills and spills, crashes and spins entertained everyone on hand.

(West Salem, WI – June 12, 2010) Bill Niles, known as the “Mid-Pack Legend” at La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway, won his first Kwik Trip NASCAR Late Model feature. Niles crossed the finish line behind Mike Carlson, but Carlson was later disqualified making Niles the official winner.


Waterford, WI, June 12 – The Midwest Enduro Series is excited to make its return to the LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway (West Salem) on Sunday June 20. The Series last event held at the track was in 1989. The “COW97 Enduro 300” main event is presented by WCOW 97.1 Country of Sparta.


More Rain on the Way

The racing action on Saturday, June 5th has been cancelled due to rain. Showers arrived at the Speedway around 3:00 and radar indicates there will be showers through the remainder of the evening.

A doubleheader weekend is ahead with Street Drags on Friday night - June 11th, presented by Unique Edge Customizing. Brackets will begin at 7:30 and gates open at 6:00.

(West Salem, WI – May 29, 2010) Shawn Pfaff was able to hold off a hard-charging Steve Carlson to take home his second feature win of the season in the Kwik Trip NASCAR Late Model Division at La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway.

(West Salem, WI – May 22, 2010) The fans that packed the stands were on their feet as Steve Carlson and Brent Kirchner finished side-by-side in the Kwik Trip NASCAR Late Models feature. Carlson crossed the line first to win his second feature in a row.

(West Salem, WI – May 15, 2010) It took a few laps, but as soon as Steve Carlson’s tires got warm he took over the lead and held off Brad Powell for his second Kwik Trip NASCAR Late Model win of the season at La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway.

(West Salem, WI – May 8, 2010) While struggles seemed evident the first two weeks of the season, 2009 Kwik Trip NASCAR Late Model Champion J. Herbst had his car hooked up in championship form and took home the feature win.

(West Salem, WI – May 1, 2010) Fans watched in amazement as Shawn Pfaff blew past Paul Proksch to win the Kwik Trip NASCAR Late Model feature on a windy Saturday night at La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway.

Pfaff took over the lead under caution when race leader Paul Proksch went high to restart two wide. Proksch tried to take the lead back, but knew Pfaff had the better car. “He would have got me, he was faster,” Proksch said.
