May
14,
2005; West Salem, WI - There was
good intentions for a night of hard racing at the La Crosse
Fairgrounds Speedway, but Mother Nature had a whole different
direction for those at the Pischke/Dodge Night event. Due to a
steady downpour of rain officials called off the night scheduled
night of racing.
Making the top notch in the Late Model time trials
was Andy Burgess with a time of 19.980 seconds averaging a speed of
98.273 MPH. In the second spot was Steve Holzhausen. Taking the
third-fastest time was Kevin Nuttleman.
In the Sportsman division the top spot in the time
trials went to Dan " The Man " Linnehan for the second week in a
row. His average speed was 88.273 MPH. Coming in second was Dan
Gilster, with Trent Boettcher in the third spot.
This Saturday action continues with the second race
of the year for the Hornets, along with the fast pace of the Late
Models, Sportsman, and the Thunderstox. Time trials start at 5:05 PM
