March 4, 2005; West Salem, WI - The
2005 NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series season will roar to life on Saturday
night April 9th at the LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway. Speedway
Officials are preparing for perhaps a record year of topnotch race
teams and close racing. "We are anxiously awaiting the first night
of competition" stated speedway Operations Director Dave Noelke.
"With over 40 Kwik Trip late model race teams registered, the race
fans are in for a heck of a battle for the championship. Plus, the
Sportsman and Thunderstox will have an excellent car count and the
competition will be as good as it can get".

The Saturday night programs will host the Kwik Trip
NASCAR Late Models, Ray Hutson Chevrolet Grand National Sportsman
and United Auto Supply Thunderstox. In addition to the three
divisions, the programs will include one of the popular Daredevil
Challenge series events or the Features Sport Bar Hornets. There
are only 22 Saturday night shows scheduled for 2005.
In addition to the limited number of "regular"
scheduled events, several special race events have been scheduled.
They include: Night of Thrills (including School Bus races) on July
3rd, the Fair Time Enduro on Friday July 15th, the Fair time 50 (a
50 lap Late Model feature) on Saturday July 16th, the TRAILER RACE
OF DESTRUCTION on Saturday July 30, the Wisconsin 100 on Saturday
Sept. 3rd, the 14th annual Eve of Destruction will be held on Sat.
Sept. 10th, and the 36th running of the Annual OKTOBERFEST RACE
WEEKEND WILL be Oct. 6-9.
Racing will begin at 7:15 for the Saturday night programs and
